Take a Break from School

Thursday, December 8th, 2011

Throughout the year the school schedule is opened up for student breaks. The concept is somewhat unusual because the idea behind education is to prepare us for adult life. And really, there is seldom a time in adulthood when our employer says “Hey, why don’t you take a couple weeks off and have a beach party with your mates”. It is definitely a welcomed occasion for students when break comes around. The school semesters are often structured around the breaks so there is often a significant push to complete major projects right before break. The result is an open armed embrace of the free time that is looming on the horizon.

There are lots of activities that might be planned for school holidays. Some students are dependent on the time off from school because it enables them to engage in some money earning. With the proper planning, a student might be able to step into their job full time to accelerate their earnings while school is out of session. Other breaks are reserved for straight up rest and relaxation. There is value in the approach because the social engagements that rock the school breaks might help a student focus on their schoolwork when returning to campus. A balanced strategy that embraces partying and working in equal measure will serve a student admirably.

Boys Will Be Boys

Sunday, November 27th, 2011

Men enjoy a series of liesure activities that is seldom understood by the fairer sex.  Men like to gather inn groups to participate in games.  nAs young men the games might be sporting in nature.  As men age it is more likely that they will engage in games of intellectual wit matching like poker or other trump based card games.  Men like to gather in the woods for the purpose of tracking and killing game.  While a lady might don a pair of womens wellies to work in the garden, a man will likely opt for a sturdy outdoor shoe that will aid in his quest for manly enrichment.

Parlor games like billiards and darts also provide an immediate point of interest for gentleman.  The commaraderie of a group of blokes smacking their balls around the table is one that few men can resist.  Darts are a game of skill that offers an extension of the former athelete that resides in many men.  By engaging in an individual competition, men are able to resurect the competitive spirit that dominated thier hormone driven youths.  Golf is another opportunity for men to express their waning athletic ability.  The course provides the perfect opportunity for players to talk about the good old days when they were still worth a salt physically.  By brokering important deals and other networking on a golf course, men are uniting in the tacit agreement that while young men might beat them down in a fight, they still possess the wisdom to outperform their youthful counterparts in matters of business.

Guys who make Movies

Friday, July 8th, 2011

Are you a guy who is pursuing a career in movie making?  Do you create your own movies and then ask friends to watch and give their comments?  With each movie you create, you will be experimenting with lighting and sound, locations and editing as you increase these necessary skills.  Once you have your special project done and you are needing copies made for distribution, who will you turn to?

You might have a reference from a friend but if you don’t, you will take time to search online for a reputable replication service.   If you happen to live central California, you can go in person to speak with those who offer Blu-Ray replication San Francisco.  If you don’t, you can give them a call or get an instant quote online.

You don’t want to trust your hard work to just anyone.  You want someone who is committed to quality and strives to exceed your expectations. Once you hand over your final version, they will then do what they do best, and that is to never compromise when it comes to quality.  The right company will understand the effort you have put into your project and quality will be their top priority.
